Stéphane Rolland haute couture
24 January 2012
Yasmin made a stunning appearance in the finale of the designer's
latest Paris haute couture show, where she wore a sculptural, red
silk jersey ball gown with assorted lacquered metal appliques.
The dress was so massive - 50 kilos (100 lbs) and with 45 meters
(147.5 feet) of fabric at its longest point - that she required
assistance to descend the runway and carry the train. Who
else but a catwalk veteran to handle such an impressive garment?
said of being introduced to Yasmin, who wore two of his dresses
to events last year, "I was totally engulfed by her beauty
and persona. She is gentle, yet assertive… spicy, yet fresh… classic,
yet rock 'n roll. A great muse!"

FOUR is the chic London
salon whose loyal celebrity clientele includes Yasmin and Amber.
Both Le Bons are pictured below with three of the salon's four color
specialists at a party marking the salon's first year in business.
Yasmin gives them a glowing endorsement on
their website: "I couldn't and wouldn't trust my hair to
anyone other than Charlie at FOUR London. The salon has a relaxed
but very professional way of working and their strength is always
being open to new ideas backed up by their years of experience and
knowledge. I don't know another hair salon that is as genuine, honest
and less intimidating. It feels like a real family. I am actually
worried that my well kept secret is now out!"
Earlier this year, Yasmin took part in Forevermark's
A Promise Shared campaign
by making a promise to Barnardo's,
the UK's leading children's charity. On November 4th, she
made good on that promise by paying a visit to Havering Young Carers,
a social service run by Barnardo's, where she spoke to some of the
young people she has pledged to help.
A Barnardo's representative told
Forevermark: "Barnardo’s is delighted that Yasmin is supporting
our work with young carers and has taken the time to meet some of
the children and young people who use our vital services.
With so many adult responsibilities, young carers often miss out
on opportunities to play, learn and enjoy a normal childhood. We
are extremely grateful for Mrs Le Bon’s involvement in raising awareness
of these vital issues. Yasmin’s generous promise will help us to
provide fun days out where young carers can be children again, in
the company of others who share similar experiences."

a daring dress by Lanvin with a leg-baring slit that she showed

the members of Duran Duran to discuss the details behind uniting
Naomi and some of her supermodel friends, possibly including Kate

About the cover shoot,
WestEast reveals: "With Yasmin Le Bon’s availability confirmed,
Mohieb – responsible for this month’s cover story – initially conjured
up a new look, steering clear of the scraped-back hair she is so
often seen with. Then on meeting the supermodel, he promptly realized
that her perfectly sculpted jawline simply had to foreground, so
it was pulled back hair after all. In this story, Mohieb gives us
Yasmin the heroine: Super Yasmin. The planned look would be a restless
siren. A power sweeping fierily across the desert. Colours are warm
and spicy. Purely as a coincidence, when our cover girl told Mohieb
that her daughters were named Amber Rose and Saffron Sahara, he
knew it was meant to be."
