At 36, Le Bon's Back in a Bikini for M&S

She's a sight to inspire every 30-something mum. Yasmin Le Bon is 36 and has 3 children, but you'd never guess it.
She jetted to the south of France to model a new swimwear range for Marks & Spencer. And if bosses of the high street chain were jittery - annual profits plummeted from more than £1 billion to £450 million last month - Yasmin was actually shaking. "I must admit I'm very nervous," she said after the shoot.
"I haven't done swimwear since before my daughter Tallulah was born." She was proud though, too.
"I'm doing this for all the 36-year old mothers who have three kids to look after and no time for the gym - let alone a personal trainer like lots of people I know," Yasmin said.
And Yasmin, wife of Duran Duran rock star Simon Le Bon, sees no end to her 15-year modelling career.
"Actors and models keep working till they die, so why can't models?" she said. Fashion stores and designers are learning that they are not going to sell clothes to a 45-year old modelled by a skinny 16-year old.
"The industry is evolving and whilst there is work, I'll keep modelling and there seem to be jobs galore at the moment, thankfully."
Keeping her figure is a constant challenge. With daughters Amber, 11, Saffron, nine, and six-year-old Tallulah to look after, exercise time is strictly limited. Yasmin said, "Getting to the supermarket is more important to me than how I look, and when I'm cooking for the kids it's hard to come up with low-fat, low-calorie dishes for yourself as well."
Yasmin has kept a similar shape during her entire modelling career - a curvy 34-25-37. She laughed, "I call myself Big Hips Le Bon because I'm a 10 at top and 12 at the bottom."
"I've always been that shape, but I'm self-conscious of losing tone since having kids and worry like everyone about the dreaded cellulite."
And the recipe to her long-lasting marriage to 42-year-old Simon?
"It's all about give and take, you have to learn to accept each other's faults - and your own," she said.
