How do a rock star and supermodel celebrate 20 years of marriage?  If you're Simon and Yasmin Le Bon, who toast two decades of marital bliss at the end of this month, you have a quiet night with the kids and the, er, mother-in-law.

"It's a strange time of year," says Yasmin, still stunningly beautiful at 41.  "It's two days after Christmas and not many people are around, so we'll probably spend it with the girls (daughters Amber, 16, Saffron, 14, and Tallulah, 11) and the mother-in-law."  Yasmin was speaking at the Diamond Charm auction at Sotheby's, which she attended without her Duran Duran warbler husband.

She was one of the famous names, including Sienna Miller and Victoria Beckham, who had designed jewel-covered pendants - crafted by Boodles - to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Jemima Khan (who was accompanied by her eager bidder boyfriend Hugh Grant), saw her Lahori lorry sell for 61,000 but Yasmin's diamond-set rattle pendant was the most expensive lot at 80,000.

So would Yasmin fancy a career change as a jewellery designer?  "No, no," she laughed.  "This is just a fluke.  I'm still modelling.  It's 22 years since I started.  I didn't think I'd still be working now.  Then again, when I started out, I didn't think I'd still be alive at 40."
